Jason Scott Lee, of Hawaiian and Chinese heritage, was born in Los Angeles but raised in Hawaii from the age of two. His passion for acting ignited during high school and flourished at Fullerton College under the tutelage of acting coach Sal Romeo. Lee's acting career commenced with a role in Born in East L.A. (1987), followed by numerous supporting roles. However, his breakthrough came with Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993), where he portrayed the legendary martial artist. Another notable role was in The Jungle Book (1994). Despite not establishing himself as a leading actor, Lee continues to thrive in supporting roles while nurturing his interest in live theater.
