Raymond Yu ♂️

Raymond Yu, known professionally as China Mac, is an American rapper, entertainer, activist, and former gang member. Born and raised in Brooklyn to Chinese immigrants from Hong Kong, he joined the Ghost Shadows gang at the age of 12 and later spent time in juvenile detention. After being involved in gang-related crimes and a high-profile altercation, he served multiple prison sentences before founding Red Money Records. Mac has since focused on music production, releasing albums and EPs, and activism, particularly against anti-Asian hate crimes. He organized rallies and released a single with a message of unity and resistance. His personal background includes a father who was part of the Flying Dragons gang in the 1980s.
