Sean Wang ♂️

Sean Wang is a Taiwanese American film director. His debut feature film, Dìdi, premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and won the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award. His documentary short, Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó, premiered at the 2023 South by Southwest, where it won the Grand Jury Award and Audience Award, and was later nominated for Best Documentary Short Film at the 96th Academy Awards. Wang hails from Fremont, California, and graduated from Irvington High School. He studied at the University of Southern California's film school and worked for Google Creative Lab. He has also participated in several Sundance Institute programs, including the director and screenwriter labs.
