Yoon Mi-rae, born Natasha Shanta Reid on May 31, 1981, is an American-born, South Korean-based rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. She gained early recognition as part of the Korean hip-hop group Uptown and later formed the duo "Tashannie." Facing discrimination due to her mixed heritage, Yoon embarked on a solo career in 2001, releasing albums like "As Time Goes By" and "Gemini." She joined Jungle Entertainment in 2006 and addressed the challenges of being a mixed-race artist in Korea with her album "T3 – Yoon Mi Rae." In 2013, Yoon, alongside Tiger JK and rapper Bizzy, formed the hip-hop trio MFBTY (My Fans Better Than Yours). Notable for hits like "Sweet Dream," MFBTY signed with Tiger JK's label, Feel Ghood Music. Yoon's song "Touch Love" topped Billboard's Korea K-Pop Hot 100 in 2013. In 2014, she released the single "Angel," which topped Korean music charts. Yoon's personal life includes marriage to Tiger JK in 2007, and they advocate against child abuse.
